Dinner is served is an annual event at Carleton university's school of architecture. 3rd year students form groups of 5-6 and for the next 6 weeks work together to design and build a total architectural dining experience. Students get to choose a site along the banks of rideau river (on campus) where the will build a pavillion in which they must serve dinner to two guests of Ottawa's architectural community. The students must take into account the site they will build on and decide on a theme that will bring flavour to their food and to their guests experience.
